2023 TIMELINE FOR RECYCLING GRANT ROUND

July 13 at 10:00 a.m. (By Zoom)

  • Mandatory pre-application training for all potential applicants.

  • District begins accepting applications.

 

July 23

  • Optional:  Submit application documents as DRAFTS for review and suggestions by District staff prior to submitting the final version.  Send to accounting@bentoncountyrecycles. Drafts received after this date cannot be ensured review and comment prior to the deadline.

 

July 30 at 4:00 p.m.

  • All applications must be received by the District business office. 

    • Submit in person Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the District office, 5702 Brookside Rd, Bentonville AR 72713.

    • Submit by mail:  BCRSWMD, 5702 Brookside Rd, Bentonville AR 72713

    • Submit by email to jayme@bentoncountyrecycles.org  – however, it is your responsibility to call the office at (479) 795-0751 to confirm that the application has been received prior to the deadline.

  • Activity Survey forms due to District for prior grantees. (§ 35.03)

  • Progress Reports due for prior grantees with help of District staff. (§ 35.04)

 

August 5 at 10:30 a.m. (By Zoom)

  • Benton County Solid Waste District Grant Committee will review all applications for recommendations to entire board.

 

August 12 at 1:30 p.m. (By Zoom and TBD location)

  • Solid Waste District Board to approve final list of grant recipients for 2021.

 

August 13

  • District will publish public notice of proposed projects and begin comment period.

  • Recycling Activity Survey forms due to DEQ.

 

September 15

  • Public comment period ends.
