NOTICE: The Benton County Solid Waste District adopted an Emergency Rule changing our Rules and Regulations related to fees collected on each ton of waste generated within Benton County. These fees make it possible for the District to provide the Convenience Center Program, Rural Recycling, and the many other services for our citizens.
Citizens should not notice an impact from this change as the total amount of fees collected did not change. The methods and types of fees were changed. You may view the copy of the changes here.
The Emergency Rule became effective on January 17, 2020 and will remain effective for 120 days. During this time, the District will be promulgating a permanent change to our Rules and Regulations incorporating the emergency changes as well as other needed updates. We are seeking public input. We will conduct a Public Hearing and will post the date here once scheduled. Please make plans to participate in this important process!
INCLEMENT WEATHER NOTICE- District locations may be closed during periods of severe inclement weather. Please check this site or our message at (479) 795-0751 for further updates.
